And now, what many of you have been waiting for – PerfectDisk 13, with performance enhancements, scheduling enhancements and support for Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2.
Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2
Earlier this summer, we communicated that PerfectDisk 13 would be out by the end of the summer. Well, it will be close, but not quite summer. There were some late, unexpected changes we needed to make (due to Windows 8.1), pushing our release back a bit. Our sincerest apologies for those of you who have been patiently waiting for this release.
PerfectDisk 13 will be released to consumers on October 1st – the consumer release has been pushed back one week, to October 8th, in order to complete infrastructure updates to support the release. Additional (business) editions will follow after that.
The consumer edition of PerfectDisk 13 was scheduled to be released October 1st. Due to infrastructure updates that were necessary to support the release and some installation issues we’re seeing, the consumer release has been delayed. The business editions will follow the consumer release.
We are almost there!
